Javian Thomas, a junior, teamed with seniors Michael Dansby, Jay'Vion Cole and Trey Hammork to lead McClymonds High from Oakland to victory in 40.98 seconds in the invitational boys 4x100-meter relay at the 39th Sacramento Meet of Champions at American River College in Sacramento. McClymonds eclipsed the 1999 meet record of 41.16 by Vallejo, in addition to lowering its own program record of 41.25, also from 1999.
